Day 3 - Technology in Fifty Years

In fifty years I believe all of our houses will run by computers. Instead of unlocking the house with keys, we will use our fingerprints. Instead of cleaning ourselves there will be computers that will do it for us. I also believe that a computerized version of us will appear to talk to one another instead of cell phones. That is what I also believe will be used in emails and other messaging places. I think that in fifty years our computer's technology capability will put our computers now to shame.

Day 2 of Training

Today went pretty good until we got to Window's Movie Maker. My group had a view problems with uploading a video, but despite our set back our group still reared on. I thought that the Movie Maker is still a very useful tool, and can't wait to find ways to use it in my school, community, and even my personal life. I already knew about PowerPoint but still found some new and useful information about it that i either didn't know about it or i forgot. I'm excited to share it with my teachers and believe that they will find it very helpful.

First day of training

I learned alot of useful information today from training. I'm excited to get busy using some of the knowledge in the school I will be assigned in. I really enjoyed the Google Earth application. I find it amazing to be able to type in any place in the world and be able to see it in seconds like you are actually there. I'm looking forward to another great day of training tomorrow.

expectations at TeachUp!

Our expectations from this program are to expand our knowledge with technology and share this knowledge with the community, and to recieve a hands on educational experience with students and teachers. We are excited to begin the program. Our main concern is how are we assigned to schools and community services. We feel that our expectation to you is to help equip the teachers with a better knowledge of technology that they will incorporate in the classrooms.
